Computer/TV/Phone Accountability--ACK!!!
- -Do I READ about other people's homes or am I making mine?
- -Do I RESEARCH healthy habits, or do I DO them?
- -Do I READ about romance or do I CREATE it?
- -Do I READ about child rearing, or do I DO it?
- -Does my family get a LOT of "just one minute"'s from me while I am on the computer?
- -Do I lose track of time on the computer or phone?
- -Are forums I am on catty, chatty, timewasting, make me irritated or grouchy?
- -Do I spend more time on boards/blogs/sites than I do with my family (not quality time, I mean REAL MINUTES)?
- -If my tv is on, is it uplifting and useful? Or soaps, gameshows, or graphic news that the children can see?
- -If my tv is on, is it necessary?
- -Does my husband/children see more of the front of my head or the back?
- -Is my "research" actually necessary? Am I looking up specific answers for specific questions?
- -Am neglecting my house to help someone take care of theirs via computer or phone?
- -Have I ignored my children to be on the phone?
- -What have I done today besides be on the computer/on the phone/watching tv?
- **Let's get off the computer and LIVE our LIVES!! YAY!
Let's make our house a home!!!
- -Have I spent time with the Lord today? How much?
- -How am I going to uplift my husband today?
- -Have I spent time with my husband or do I have a plan to?
- -How have I blessed someone else today?
- -Have I spent time with my children? How much?
- -Is my house clean right this second?
- -Is supper planned and started?
- -Have I made myself presentable today?
- -Have I done extra to make my home (gardening, baking, sewing, pleasing tone of voice)?
- -Have I really done the most I could do in my situation?
- **If we cannot answer these questions well, let's get off the computer and get making our homes! YAY!!!
